Filtering and Downloading Campaign Reports

2 min read

A key feature of PhishGrid is the ability to filter campaign reports based on specific criteria, allowing for detailed analysis of campaign effectiveness. This guide will walk you through how to filter and download campaign reports based on various parameters such as Last Hit, Campaign Name, Target, and User Interaction.

Step 1: Navigate to reports

Filtering and Downloading Campaign Reports

Log into your PhishGrid account and select the ‘Reports’ tab from the main dashboard. Within the Reports section, click on ‘Campaign Report’ to view the list of available reports.

Step 2: Apply Filters

  • Campaigns: Filter reports by specific campaigns. You can select or deselect campaigns to include in your report by checking or unchecking the respective boxes next to campaign names.

  • Targets: Narrow down the data to specific targets by checking or unchecking the boxes next to target email addresses or identifiers.

  • Resources: Filter the report based on the type of interaction users had with the campaign content. Options include:
    • Viewed: Users who viewed the content.
    • Sent: Emails that were successfully sent.
    • Clicked Link: Users who clicked on a link within the email.
    • Form Submitted: Users who submitted a form (useful for campaigns simulating login pages or other data entry forms).
    • Enter data: Users who have been vished, and have entered some information like OTP etc.

Step 3: Download Prepared Report

Filtering and Downloading Campaign Reports

  • Once you have set up all your filters and reviewed the displayed results, click on the ‘Download’ button located typically at the bottom of the page or near the filter settings.
  • The report will be downloaded to your local system in a format that allows for easy distribution or further analysis (e.g., CSV).

Best Practices for Using Campaign Reports:

  • Regular Reviews: Regularly review and analyze campaign reports to monitor the effectiveness of your cybersecurity phishing/vishing programs.
  • Customize Filters: Make use of the detailed filtering options to create customized reports that focus on specific aspects of your campaigns.
  • Secure Data Handling: Always ensure that sensitive data captured during campaigns is handled securely, especially if choosing to store data in plain text.
  • Actionable Insights: Use insights gained from the reports to make informed decisions about future campaigns and to identify areas where additional training is needed.
