1. Log in to IceWarp Administration Console

  1. Open your web browser and go to the IceWarp Administration Console.
  2. Enter your admin credentials to log in.

2. Accessing the Anti-Spam Settings

  1. Once logged in, navigate to ‘System’ in the left-side menu.
  2. Click on ‘Security’ and then select ‘Anti-Spam’.

3. Whitelisting a Domain

To whitelist a domain, follow these steps:

  1. In the Anti-Spam section, click on the ‘Whitelist’ tab.
  2. Click on ‘Add’ to include a new entry.
  3. Enter the domain you want to whitelist, for example: mailservers.xyz
  4. Set the action for the whitelisted domain:
    • Choose ‘Always Allow’ if you want to fully trust the domain without filtering.
  5. Save the changes by clicking ‘OK’ or ‘Apply’.

4. Whitelisting an IP Address

To whitelist an IP address:

  1. Still in the ‘Anti-Spam’ settings, go to the ‘IP Whitelist’ tab.
  2. Click on ‘Add’ to include a new IP address.
  3. Enter the IP address or IP range you wish to whitelist from IP & Domains List
  4. Set the action to ‘Always Allow’ to fully trust the IP address.
  5. Save your settings by clicking ‘OK’ or ‘Apply’.

5. Managing the Whitelist

To manage the whitelisted entries:

  1. In both the ‘Domain Whitelist’ and ‘IP Whitelist’ tabs, you can view, edit, or delete any entries by selecting them and choosing the appropriate action.
  2. Regularly review your whitelist to ensure that only trusted domains and IPs are allowed.

6. Additional Security Measures

While whitelisting helps in preventing false positives, it’s essential to:

  • Combine whitelisting with other security measures like SPF, DKIM, and DMARC for enhanced email security.
  • Regularly review and update your whitelist to avoid potential security risks.
